Webdesk: Lil Durk didn’t hold back when he called Gunna a “rat” after rumours spread that he had snitched after he took a plea deal in the YSL RICO case last December.
The Okay rapper said on DJ Akademiks’s Off the Record show, “You should have gone in there and kept your mouth shut.” He also said, “I never unfollowed him [on Instagram],” pointing to Gunna.
“I’m not sure why I didn’t do it. I just don’t take Instagram and all that other stuff seriously. But if you a rat, you a rat. If you go back a little bit in the video, you’ll see that I looked into the camera and said. “If you’re a rat, I hate you.” The 30-year-old added, “Because I love Thug.”
On the other hand, the rapper from Heatin’ Up denied that he worked with the police.
Gunna said in a statement about his plea deal, “I agreed to always tell the truth, but I want to make it clear that I NOT made any statements. NOT interviewed, NOT cooperated. As well as NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case. And absolutely NO intention of involved in any way in the trial process.”
Last May, the police nabbed Young Thug on charges that he led a street gang called YSL, or Young Slime Life, that broke the Georgia criminal racketeering law and was violent.
