Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf confirmed Parvez Ilahi as president of Party by releasing an official notification. This notification confirmed his break with his former party, the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q).

In an official notification released on Twitter, the party praised Elahi’s unwavering support for Chairman Imran Khan and the PTI since the change in regime.

Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry presented Elahi with the notification on Imran’s instructions and congratulated him on his appointment.

Expressing his gratitude, Elahi promised to remain steadfast in his support for Imran and to uphold the Constitution and the law. Elahi’s son Moonis Elahi also expressed his thanks to the PTI chairman, pledging not to disappoint him.

Last month, Parvez announced his departure from the PML-Q and joining the PTI, along with ten other former PML-Q MPAs. According to Chaudhry, Parvez had always stood by Imran during tough and challenging times.
