Webdesk: After his teenage grandson Leandro died, American actor Robert De Niro shared a heartbreaking post in which he said he “deeply distressed.”
Leandro De Niro Rodriguez’s mother, Robert De Niro’s daughter Drena De Niro, has stated that her son has died.
After the sad death of his grandson, the 79-year-old actor has now released a heartbreaking statement.
Robert told People in a statement on Monday, “I’m very sad about the death of my beloved grandson Leo.”
“We’re very grateful to everyone for their thoughts. We’d like to left alone to mourn the loss of Leo,” he said of the teen.
Drena De Niro said on Instagram Sunday night that her 19-year-old son Leandro had died. She started a moving post with a picture of Leandro. “My sweet, beautiful baby. Since the moment I felt you in my belly, I have loved you more than words can say.”
Robert has seven kids, and Drena is the oldest. Her mother is the actress Diahnne Abbott, who was his first wife.
