Multan: On Wednesday, a wanted terrorist of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was killed in a crossfire during a raid conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Khanewal. The deceased terrorist was later identified as Irfan Ullah, who was believed to be the mastermind behind a recent car bomb blast in Rawalpindi.

The CTD conducted the raid after receiving intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area. The operation resulted in a firefight, during which Irfan Ullah was killed. The CTD recovered a significant amount of weapons and ammunition from the scene, including one Kalashnikov, a grenade, a TTP flag, a suicide jacket, and rounds.

As a result of the successful operation, a special search operation was conducted to apprehend any other terrorists who may have escaped. The authorities have registered a case with the CTD Mutlan police station to further investigate the matter. The successful operation by the CTD has been commended for their efforts in ensuring the safety and security of the citizens of the country.
