Webdesk: A month before she died, Tina Turner knew that her time on earth was coming to an end.
The singer knew she was in “great danger” because of a cancer in her kidney.
“My kidneys are suffering because I didn’t realise that conventional medicine should have been used to treat my high blood pressure,” she wrote on Instagram on March 9.
“I have put myself in a lot of danger by not facing the fact that I need medicine and therapy every day for the rest of my life. Too long, I thought my body was an invincible fortress that couldn’t be broken.
During her last public performance, Turner sent a special message to all of her fans.
In November 2021, the singer told her fans to ‘keep on rocking.’
Turner said in the video as she sat next to a piano, “Hi, everyone! When I heard that the Hall of Fame was giving me a trophy, it was a very special moment.”
“I must have done something right if they’re still giving me awards at age 81. “This is mine, but I don’t care about you anymore,” she laughed.
She said, while holding the statue, “I’m very happy to have this and to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.” “It’s wonderful. Thank you.”
Tina Turner died at age 83 after being sick for a long time. The singer died in her home in Kusnacht, Switzerland, which is near Zurich.
Her spokesman said, “Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll,’ died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Kusnacht, Switzerland, near Zurich.”
“When she dies, the world loses a legendary musician and a role model.”
