Toshakhana case: Imran have to go to court on March 30.

Islamabad: In the Toshakhana case, a district and sessions court in Islamabad called Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to appear on March 30.

Judge Zafar Iqbal gave the order, which says that the court will hear arguments. About whether the ECP complaint against the former prime minister is valid.

Also, the judge himself put an end to the argument about the missing file. He said that the missing page of the order sheet is saved on a computer at the court.

On March 18, Judge Iqbal cancelled the arrest warrants for the former prime minister in the case. He let Khan leave Islamabad’s Judicial Complex after he signed in. He wasn’t charged, though, because police and party members were fighting outside the building.

The hearing was postponed until March 30 (Thursday). The judge said that the situation outside the complex, where there was a lot of fighting between the two sides, was not good for holding the hearing and appearance.

As Imran’s group of cars approached the judicial complex, where he would appear in court for the Toshakhana case, there were violent fights between police and PTI supporters.

The vehicle of the PTI chairman was stopped just 100 metres from the gate of the judicial complex. The police said that party members were blocking the way, but the PTI said that the police were making it hard for Imran to move around.

Even though court hours were over, the head of the PTI could not show up in front of the judge.

After Imran’s attendance was marked, Judge Iqbal told everyone outside the complex to leave peacefully and not throw shells or stones or do anything else violent.
