WhatsApp launches “highly anticipated” feature

Whatsapp

Webdesk: WhatsApp has added a “highly anticipated” feature to the app. This shows that the company still committed to improving the user experience.

WABetainfo said that the new picture editing tool is the latest addition to the instant messaging platform. It has added to the Desktop version of the app.

In a story on the website, its said that the new feature is a “crop tool” for the drawing editor that lets users cut out parts of the images as needed.

“This addition has been a long time coming, since it wasn’t in the earlier versions. With this update, WhatsApp beta users on Windows can now crop their pictures right in the app, making it easier to edit media,” it said.

The “crop tool” also saves users time because before it was added, they had to use other image editing tools to crop pictures before sending them through the Desktop version.

With the built-in crop tool, users can easily crop their photos without leaving WhatsApp.

But right now, not all users can use the new tool because it was first made available to a small group of beta testers. It will soon be available to more people.
