2 DG Khan university teachers accused of rape, blackmail

Webdesk: Two physics teachers at Ghazi University in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, accused of sexually assaulting and blackmailing a young female student.

The clearly upset girl, apparently a student in the university’s physics department, named the two teachers. She said that they had “kept her in the hostel with them overnight” in a video that went viral on social media.

“Now both teachers blackmailing my younger sister,” she said. She added that if the teachers in question not punished, she would set herself on fire.

Moreover, Shoaib Raza, spokesman Ghazi University, said in response to the complaint that the video passed around an old one. The victim’s protest taken into account.

Also, a tweet from the university said, “Regarding the video by a female student that went viral on social media. Everyone should know that this video is 4 months old. An investigation was done at the request of the female student. As a result, the teachers involved suspended.”

The post also included a picture of a notice from May 5, 2023, saying that Dr. Zafar Wazir and Dr. Khalid Mehmood Ur Rehman had fired.

While, The statement went on to say, “This video statement used on social media by a small number of teachers at the university for their own purposes. Moreover, Cases of misconduct looked into against these teachers at the university.” He made this video go viral on purpose to hurt the image of the university.

“Right now, more people are going to college, but teaching and other things at Ghazi University are going very well.” Now is the time to take legal action against people like this who want to hurt the university’s image for no reason,” the post said.
