A FlyDubai flight (FZ501) en route from Dubai to Dhaka made an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport early Friday morning due to a medical emergency.
According to the Pakistan Airports Authority spokesperson, the aircraft landed safely at 3:20 AM and was parked at Bay 21.
A Bangladeshi passenger named Ms. Begum was provided immediate medical assistance and was later shifted to Aga Khan Hospital via ambulance.
Following the medical issue, a technical fault developed in the aircraft around 5:15 AM, leading to the safe offboarding of all 159 passengers to the transit lounge.
A replacement cockpit crew and technical team arrived from Dubai, resolved the issue, and the flight took off
