Lahore (NNI) PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has received an invitation to the ICC Board Meeting and IPL Final to be held in India. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will decide on his participation. According to the cricket website, the International Cricket Council meetings will be held in two phases this month.
The virtual meeting of the ICC Chief Executive Committee will be held on May 21, while the board meeting will be held in Ahmedabad, India on May 30 and 31. The ICC meeting will discuss changes in the format of the World Test Championship. In the current format, at least 2 Test matches are mandatory in each series. Consideration will be given to including Zimbabwe, Ireland and Afghanistan in the World Test Championship. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who has received an invitation to the ICC Board Meeting and IPL Final, is to attend the board meeting. However, Mohsin Naqvi’s travel to India is not yet confirmed. The decision will be made by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
