Lahore (NNI) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squad for the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup. Fatima Sana will lead the Pakistan Women’s team in the Ireland Tri-Nation Series and the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. The Pakistan Women’s Tri-Nation Series in Ireland will be played in Dublin from May 28 to June 4.
According to the announcement, the teams of hosts Ireland and West Indies will also participate in the Tri-Nation Series. The Ireland Tri-Nation Series will be an important opportunity for the Pakistan Women’s team to prepare for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Iman Fatima, Natalia Parvez, Ramin Shamim, Saira Jabeen and Tasmia Rabab will play in the ICC Women’s T20 for the first time. Pakistan Women recently swept the T20 series against Zimbabwe 0-3 in Karachi. Before the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, the Pakistan Women’s team will play warm-up matches against Sri Lanka on June 6 and Scotland on June 9. The Pakistan Women’s team will begin its World Cup journey on June 14 in Birmingham against arch-rivals India. The Pakistan Women’s team will face South Africa on June 17, Bangladesh on June 20 and Australia on June 23.
The Pakistan Women’s team will face the Netherlands in its final group stage match on June 27 in Bristol. The Pakistan Women’s squad includes Fatima Sana, Alia Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Diana Baig, Iman Fatima, Gul Feroza, Iram Javed and Muniba Ali Siddiqui. The squad includes Nashra Sindhu, Natalia Parvez, Rameen Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Saira Jabeen, Tasmia Rabab and Tooba Hassan are also included.
