Webdesk: Malala Yousafzai and her spouse, Asser Malik, are living it up. In a recent Instagram post, the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize thanked her spouse. It was for “the most thoughtful gifts” while discussing her trip to Los Angeles.
“One of the many things I adore about my husband Asser Malik is that he gives the most thoughtful gifts. (and yes, I’ve seen your comments about his other qualities as well). She wrote in the caption accompanying a slideshow of their photos. During our recent trip to Los Angeles, he gave me these custom-painted shoes. I wore those to the Santa Monica pier.”
The date of Malala’s nikkah was announced to be November 9, 2021. In Birmingham, the entire ordeal was a private affair. Malala shared in a tweet: “Today is a significant day in my existence. Asser (Malik) and I tied the knot to become lifelong companions.” Additionally, she shared photographs of herself and her new spouse on their wedding day. “Our families celebrated a modest nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham. Asser, the lucky man who married Malala in 2021, also took to Twitter to express his respect and admiration for the activist for women’s rights. “I’m so excited to spend the remainder of my life with Malala, whom I consider to be the most empathetic and dependable companion. Thank you for your congratulations on our Nikkah.
