Webdesk: Kevin Costner Yellowstone, a TV show from Paramount, did not cause an 18-year marriage to end.
The hit Western drama had something to do with the 68-year-old’s 18-year marriage to Christine Baumgartner ending.
But a source told the split “has nothing to do with Yellowstone” and that “the two situations are completely unrelated.”
Costner and Baumgartner married in 2004, and they have three kids together.
Earlier, the actor’s rep said that the couple is splitting up because of “circumstances beyond [Costner’s] control.” The rep also said, “We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they go through this difficult time.”
The news source quoted a friend who said, “It’s really messed up their family life. They also said, “The show may be a huge hit, but the producers want it to go on forever!” But Christine wants her husband to put away his cowboy hat, and a source says that her patience is wearing thin.
“She wants a strong promise. The portal said, “This is his last season, or he might have to hit the dusty trail!”
