Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted hot, dry weather in most cities.
Over the next 24 hours, Karachi will have partly overcast skies, heat, and humidity. The port city’s maximum temperatures range from 34 to 36°C to 28°C.
18-kph winds will persist. City humidity is 60%.
The Met agency predicted “very hot” weather in Sindh’s central and upper regions and warm, humid weather in Karachi a day earlier. It predicted 32°C–36°C temperatures on Sunday and Monday.
The PMD predicted maximum temperatures of 43°C to 45°C in southern cities.
Moreover, Jamshoro, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Naushahro Feroze, Qambar Shahdadkot, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, and Sanghar.
While, PMD predicts clear, dry, moderate weather in Quetta with highs between 35°C and 37°C.
Balochistan’s provincial capital had a 15°C minimum. The Met department reported 35°C city highs a day earlier.
The province’s north is clear and temperate, while the south and centre are hot. Most districts in Balochistan will see dusty daytime breezes and hot, dry weather.
The PMD reported 17°C in Kalat, 23°C in Jiwani, and 26°C in Turbat. Sibi had the second-highest temperature in the nation at 47°C.
The Met Office reported that Peshawar is hot and dry today, with a 42°C high.
