According to the Hurun India Rich List 2025, Physics Wallah founder Alakh Pandey has seen a staggering 223% increase in his net worth, which now stands at ₹14,510 crore. In comparison, Shah Rukh Khan’s wealth is recorded at ₹12,490 crore.
Alakh Pandey began his journey in 2016 by teaching students for free on YouTube. Coming from a modest background, he democratized access to quality education through digital platforms. Today, Physics Wallah stands as one of India’s leading EdTech companies with global recognition.
Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan also entered the billionaire club for the first time this year, with his wealth increasing by 71%, reaching around $1.4 billion.
The Hurun India Rich List 2025 reports that 58 new billionaires have been added this year, many from technology, education, and startup sectors. Alakh Pandey’s story is a powerful example of how knowledge, innovation, and perseverance can redefine success and transform lives.
