The Islamabad Food Authority has issued new rules and regulations for restaurants and food points in the federal capital.
According to the newly released SOPs, all chefs and waiters are now required to wear safety caps while handling food. The use of caps has been made mandatory to ensure proper hygiene standards.
Any restaurant or food point found violating these regulations will be sealed immediately.
The Food Authority has urged citizens to report restaurants where staff are working without caps.
Director of the Food Authority has instructed inspection teams to conduct surprise visits in different areas to ensure compliance with the SOPs. Citizens have been encouraged to support the authority in taking action against violators.
