LAHORE: HEALTH REPORTER
After the announcement of cancellation of matriculation and inter papers of the education department, millions of students have become victims of anxiety but now they need not worry. The education department has formulated a formula for giving marks to students who do not give matriculation and entrance papers. Under this formula, ninth grade marks will be taken from the percentage of eighth grade marks, tenth grade marks will be taken from ninth grade marks, eleventh grade marks will be taken from tenth grade marks and twelfth grade marks will be taken from eleventh grade marks. Intermediate Part Two numbers will also be given according to Part One.
According to official documents received by the “Qalam Club”, all the boards across the country have sent proposals to the government for approval, which will be formally announced by the federal government in the next few days. According to the boards’ suggestions and recommendations, all ninth grade students will be promoted to the tenth grade without any allocation and next year the same marks will be given to the ninth grade in the tenth grade. In other words, the children of the ninth grade can now get promoted to the tenth grade and get higher marks just by preparing better for the tenth grade.
These students who are promoted in the tenth (in the tenth) will be given half marks out of the total marks of the practical in the ninth. The remaining fifty percent of the marks will be given in proportion to their tenth theory marks. That is, if you work harder in the tenth, then the number of theory and practical in the ninth will automatically increase
With reference to the students of 10th class who have passed the examination, it is suggested that the marking of their papers should be completed by making an effort. If for some reason the marking is not possible, the number of marks they have got in the ninth grade will be doubled. In the same way, the current students of class X should be given half marks without any allocation in practical terms and the remaining half marks should be given in proportion to their theory marks.
Recommendations similar to matriculation have also been sent to the government for the children of Intermediate Part-I. Will be doubled. Students who are currently studying in class XII will be given marks equal to the marks obtained in class XI.
It is also recommended that Inter students be given half of the practical marks indiscriminately and the remaining half of the practical marks will be in proportion to the marks obtained in theory. At the same time, another concern of the students is being removed that if a student thinks that his marks are low, he can fulfill his desire to retake the exam. Then only those who will get marks after giving the test should be included in his original result card۔
