Lahore: The Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department of Punjab has announced the appointment of Woman Medical Officers (WMO) on an adhoc basis, in accordance with the advertisement No.SO (WMO-II) 5-07/2023(Adhoc-Ext Combine). This recruitment aims to address the staffing needs in various healthcare facilities across the province until regular incumbents or selectees from the Punjab Public Service Commission become available.
Appointed Doctors
- Dr. Ayesha Rauf, daughter of Abdul Rauf, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at Government Shahbaz Sharif District Headquarters Hospital in Multan against the post of SWMO(OPS). Appointment effective from 11th July 2023.
- Dr. Maheen Farooq, daughter of Muhammad Farooq, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at THQ Hospital Arifwala against the post of SWMO(OPS). Appointment effective from 15th June 2023.
- Dr. Zunaira Sanam, daughter of Nazim Hussain, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at District Headquarters Hospital in Mianwali. Appointment effective from 11th May 2023.
- Dr. Nida e Zahra Zaidi, daughter of Syed Muhammad Raza Shah, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at DHQ Hospital in Pakpattan against the post of SWMO(OPS). Appointment effective from 7th July 2023.
- Dr. Uroosa Nawaz, daughter of Malik Rabnawaz, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at Basic Health Unit (BHU) in Gulial, Jand, Attock. Appointment effective from 13th June 2023.
- Dr. Nimra Yameen, daughter of Muhammad Yameen Ghouri, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at DHQ Hospital in Bhakkar against the post of SWMO(OPS). Appointment effective from 10th June 2023.
- Dr. Rabia Khan, daughter of Abdullah Khan, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at DHQ Hospital in Bhakkar. Appointment effective from 3rd July 2023.
- Dr. Sumaira Naeem, daughter of Muhammad Arif Naeem, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at THQ Hospital Sillanwali, Sargodha. Appointment effective from 6th June 2023.
- Dr. Muhrukh Urwa, daughter of Ather Hameed, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at DHQ Hospital in Lodhran against the post of SWMO(OPS). Appointment effective from 18th July 2023.
- Dr. Mehwish Iqbal, daughter of Muhammad Iqbal, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at Abdul Kareem Zanana Memorial Hospital in Khushab. Appointment effective from 6th June 2023.
- Dr. Syeda Timsal Zahra, daughter of Syed Ibrar Hussain Shah, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at DHQ Chakwal against the post of SMO(OPS). Appointment effective from 11th July 2023.
- Dr. Zanib Maqbool, daughter of Maqbool Ahmad, appointed as WMO, BS-17 (on adhoc basis) at Isfanyar Bukhari District Hospital in Attock. Appointment effective from 19th June 2023.
The terms and conditions of the adhoc appointments:
i. The appointment on an adhoc basis is subject to revocation by the Competent Authority at any time.
ii. Adhoc appointment does not confer any right to the appointee regarding regular appointment or seniority.
iii. Appointees shall be governed by the Civil Servants Act, 1974, and other relevant rules and orders issued by the government.
iv. The appointment order is subject to verification of documents/degrees from the issuing authority and PMDC registration certificate. While, Any fraudulent documents will result in cancellation of the appointment and legal consequences.
v. Moreover, One month’s notice or one month’s pay in lieu of notice is mandatory for resignation.
vi. While, Appointees must provide a registration certificate issued by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council at the time of joining.
vii. The offer is valid for fifteen days from the date of receipt and will lapse if the appointee fails to report for duty.
